Fundamental specialises in children and young people’s engagement in the built environment.
We have a good track record working at both a local, regional and national level with a range of stakeholders and partners including those from the statutory, voluntary and business sectors.
Current Programmes
Legacy Youth Panel
Fundamental runs the Legacy Youth Panel a dedicated group of 14 – 19 year olds from the Olympic host boroughs on behalf of the Olympic Park Legacy Company. Click here to download the two year evaluation Summary. (Full Participant Outcomes Report and Documentary Evaluation available on request.)
Past Programmes
somewhereto
Fundamental was one of the London Regional Delivery Partner for somewhereto, a key project of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad which helps 16 – 25 year olds across the UK find the spaces they need to do the things they love.
Legacy Now
In 2008, Fundamental was commissioned by the London Development Agency to support the engagement of children and young people in the Legacy planning for the Olympic Park. We facilitated a schools programme which fed into the in-depth phase of consultation with communities in the Olympics area and established the Legacy Youth Panel with additional funding from the Five Host Boroughs.
